Board & Train Programs At K9cation
Daily Structure. Guided Practice. Real-Life Reliability.
Board & Train is not about “fixing” dogs while owners are gone.
It’s about providing consistent daily structure so dogs can build skills faster then transferring those skills back to the people who live with them.
At K9cation, our Board & Train programs are designed to create real-life results and real owner confidence, not just obedience inside a quiet training room.
Most Board & Train programs produce a dog that performs perfectly for facility handlers… then falls apart at home.
We built our system to fix that.
✅ Structured routine
✅ Real-world reliability
✅ Weekly owner coaching (Track A)
✅ Clear homework and progress steps
✅ A dog who learns to work for you
What Board & Train Is Best For
Board & Train is a good fit if:
-
You’re busy and want professional follow-through
-
Your dog needs consistency to build habits
-
You want a jump-start on focus, impulse control, and reliability
-
You want training applied throughout daily routines, not just lessons
Board & Train works best when owners are prepared to continue structure at home after the program ends.
Our Board & Train Philosophy
Dogs don’t learn best from nonstop drilling.
They learn from short, focused training sessions paired with structure, rest, and real-world practice throughout the day.
In Board & Train, dogs receive:
-
Daily guided training sessions
-
Structured routines and clear expectations
-
Practice during walks, handling, transitions, and downtime
-
Appropriate enrichment and decompression
-
Individual pacing based on age, drive, and temperament
-
Consistent follow through from each of our staff throughout the day
Rather than measuring success in “hours trained,” we measure:
-
Improved impulse control
-
Stronger focus on humans
-
Reliable responses under distraction
