General Employment Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to work safely around dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels

• Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

• Commitment to be dependable, reliable, on time and have proper attire

• Willingness to follow safety protocols, training standards, and facility policies

Positions at K9cation may include responsibilities related to:

• Dog care, handling, and supervision

• Dog bathing, grooming, nail trimming, etc.

• Cleaning and facility maintenance

• Client communication and check-in/check-out

• Training support and enrichment activities

• Adherence to health, safety, and operational protocols

• Leadership positions

• Customer service, communications both written and verbal requiring strong interpersonal skills

• Landscaping, weed pulling, trimming, etc

• Social media, photography, marketing

• Computer work

• Snow removal
